Responsibilities

1. Managing team of shift senior technicians and technician with regards to items below:
   • Ensure 24/7 chilled water supply to all connected customers within the DCS.
   • Ensure DCS operations are within the stipulated setpoints according to the SOP and compliance with related statutory requirements.
   • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Engineer/HOD.
2. Ensuring update and monitor closely DCS energy consumption i.e. water and energy consumption. (iSCADA system)
3. Ensuring continuous manning of the DCS by arranging shift rotation and scheduling of subordinates.
4. Operate and maintain District Cooling System, DCS equipment by ensuring the operations are within the set limits and procedure.
5. Ensure ETS Room in good operational condition and locked at all the time. Only authorized person allowed to enter ETS room.
6. Compile and update critical meter readings on various equipment within the plant and also to customers’ Energy Transfer Stations within Cyberjaya and records the reading as per procedure and ensure reading taken are correct and promptly manner.
7. To perform general routine inspection of plant, equipment, and chilled water network to ensure smooth operation.
8. To work closely with external service provider and relevant authority as required.
9. Supervise shift staff for DCS operations & any M&E Building related work.
10. Measurement of performance by monthly tracking according to annual KPI.

Qualifications and Experience

1. Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum 5 Field Experience in district energy or utilities plants or facility maintenance operation & maintenance.
3. Familiar with Plant or Building Automation System in order to track operational performance
